John Simpson CBE

Rt Hon the Baroness Chalker of Wallasey
Lady Chalker is Chairman of Africa Matters Limited, an
independent consultancy on Africa and development
to business and governments. From 1979-97, she held
numerous Ministerial offices, including Africa Minister
1986-97 & Overseas Development 1989-97. In those years
she spent time with Robert Mugabe and his first wife.

Matthew Neuhaus
Matthew Neuhaus is a senior Australian Diplomat.
From 2012-5 Matthew was Australia’s Ambassador
to Zimbabwe. Prior to that he was Australia’s
High Commissioner of Nigeria. From 2002-8 he
was Director of the Political Affairs Division of the
Commonwealth Secretariat in London.
